Editing Expressions and Values

You can change expressions and values of expressions directly in the Evaluations window.

To edit expressions:

  1. Open an Evaluations window as described in Evaluating Variables.
  2. Click the expression you want to change.

    The expression or value is framed.

  3. Double-click the framed expression.
  4. Enter the new value.
  5. Press the Return key or click outside of the Evaluations window.

Note

  • For values the modification is indicated by the enhanced foreground color, which you specify by selecting Options > GUI Preferences. See GUI Preferences Dialog Box.

  • The Evaluations window cannot be closed unless you click the Return key or click the mouse outside of the value modification field.
