New Language Features

The major new features for this release are as follows:

• GETLINEWIDTHQQ function

  This graphics function gets the current line width or the line width set by the last call to SETLINEWIDTHQQ. For more information, see GETLINEWIDTHQQ (W*S).

• SETLINEWIDTHQQ subroutine

  This graphics subroutine Sets the width of a solid line drawn using any of the supported graphics functions. For more information, see SETLINEWIDTHQQ (W*S).

• You can now specify the VECTORLENGTHFOR clause in an ATTRIBUTES VECTOR directive. For more information, see ATTRIBUTES VECTOR.

• ATTRIBUTES CVF directive

  This directive tells the compiler to use calling conventions compatible with Compaq Visual Fortran* and Microsoft Fortran PowerStation. For more information, see ATTRIBUTES CVF.

• ATTRIBUTES OFFLOAD directive

  This directive ensures that variables and procedures are available on the coprocessor. This directive option only applies to Intel® MIC Architecture. For more information, see ATTRIBUTES OFFLOAD.

• OFFLOAD directive

  This directive causes the statement following the directive to execute on the target. This directive only applies to Intel® MIC Architecture. For more information, see OFFLOAD.

• OFFLOAD BEGIN and END OFFLOAD directives

  These directives cause a group of statements to be executed on the target. This directive only applies to Intel® MIC Architecture. For more information, see OFFLOAD BEGIN and END OFFLOAD.

• OFFLOAD_TRANSFER directive

  This directive initiates asynchronous data transfer, or initiates and completes synchronous data transfer. This directive only applies to Intel® MIC Architecture. For more information, see OFFLOAD_TRANSFER.

• OFFLOAD_WAIT directive

  This directive specifies a wait for a previously initiated asynchronous activity. This directive only applies to Intel® MIC Architecture. For more information, see OFFLOAD_WAIT.
