60cm Solar 9Channel Telescope

This telescope is a vacuum Gregorian reflector equipped with the unique Multi-Channel Filter and can simultaneously obtain 5 monochromatic images, vector magnetic field and velocity field by measuring 5 spectral lines produced at various altitudes of solar atmosphere. The selected 9 spectral lines are CaII3968Å , HeII4686Å , MgI5173Å , FeI5247Å , 5250Å , 5576Å , 6302Å , HeI5876Å and H6563Å. Due to the tunable filter, others spectral lines can be selected and the profiles of spectral lines can be scanned. Theoretically the system can simultaneously measure 6 spectral lines, except He4686Å , 5876Å and FeI5576Å , to obtain solar magnetic field. A 2-Channel system is under developing for the high resolution measurement of the structures of magnetic pores with speckle interference method. And magnetograms with resolution of 0.5 arc sec will be expected.
